Yes, they’re going to disappear after few days, so don’t worry :)

What is the minimal length of hair to make dreads?

The minimal length is 8-10cm.

What is the minimal length of hair to attach synthetic dreads?

Your hair should be at least 6-7cm long to do that.

Is it possible to make dreads if I have dyed hair?

Yes :)

Should dreads be washed?

Sure, just like any other part of your body :)

I’ve got very few hair on my head and they are thin. Can I have dreads?

Of course, that’s not a problem. You can make dreads on every type of hair.

Does making dreads hurt?

Well… to be honest – it really hurts :) But it’s worth it :)

How long can I wear dreads?

Until you be old and bald ;)

How long does it take to make dreads?

It depends on your hair type and the length so it’s better to be prepared for the whole day.

Is it possible to unravel dreads?

No, that’s why you should think over your decision. :) It is possible to unravel dreads only if they were made by a layman.

Can I dye synthetic dreads?

Unfortunately not, but the range of colors is really impressive so you won’t have problems with selecting a perfect color :)

Do you use things like sugar or ash when you make dreads?

NEVER!!!

When I want to get rid of dreads – do I have to cut my hair to 1mm?

No, just don’t fix them for a 2 or 3 months. It is possible to save even 10cm of hair.

Should I take care of my dreads?

Yes – from time to time you should fix your dreads.

What should I do if my parents disapprove of making dreads?

You should change your parents to a new ones :)

My dreads look like pieces of shit. Is there any rescue for them?

There is always a rescue. Don’t cut them but try to fix them. If you don’t believe that it is possible to clean up that hell of a mess on your head – visit the gallery. Impossible is nothing ;)

How can I check, if the dreadmaker is a professional?

Well… If someone claim that he makes dreads in 2 or 3 hours working by himself it is impossible to make a good-looking dreads. Avoid special prices – remember – the more you pay, the better quality of dreads (mostly). Don’t believe in sentences like “I make dreads in 3 hours because I’m pro”. That’s not a truth :)

When are these protruding dreads going to drop down?

They’re going to drop down after a few days. If you want to accelerate it put on a cap for a night (winter version) or borrow tights from your mother/girlfriend/sister and put it on your head (summer version) :) But don’t forget to put off tights before visiting bank or sth ;)
